Fran Capo’s parents instilled in her that nothing was impossible and to always look for humor in life. As a native New Yorker growing up in Queens, she was the kind of kid who made her friends laugh, but took academic work seriously. During her junior year in college, she entered a school contest doing stand-up comedy for the first time. Much to her surprise, she won the contest. She gave up the idea of becoming a lawyer. Her career as a comic was born.

Fran challenged herself constantly to broaden her comedic repertoire. Whether it was live shows, local radio, writing humor for magazines or deciding she would break the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s fastest female speaker, Fran’s attitude is “Just say ‘Yes’, then figure it out later.” She parlayed her talents into numerous commercials, television appearances, acting in movies, doing voice-overs for cartoons and inspiring millions with powerful motivational seminars. When she’s not making public appearances, she’s busy writing. Fran has authored nine books and been the subject of profiles in hundreds of other books, articles and internet sites.

If there’s any spare time in Fran’s life, it’s spent exploring the world on exotic adventures that have included diving to the wreck of the Titanic, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, flying combat aircraft and parachuting out of them, bungee jumping, swimming with sharks and more. Full payment of the VocationVacations dream job holiday is required to make a reservation. A $100 non-refundable fee is assessed if a VocationVacations experience is cancelled or rescheduled prior to 14-days of the scheduled VocationVacations holiday, based on the approved availability of the mentor to reschedule. A VocationVacations adventure cannot be rescheduled and is non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled VocationVacations holiday. Written notification of cancellation or rescheduling is required in all cases. In the US, Grounded Nomads, LLC and VocationVacations holidays encourage all customers to acquire travel insurance to cover any unforeseen expenses due to cancellation or rescheduling.
