Coach Sharon Good
Mission:
To help others live authentic lives and find careers they love by discovering who they are and what’s truly important to them, and then turning that into exciting life and career possibilities.
Bio:
Sharon began her professional life as an actress, singer and dancer. The highlight of her career was a 13-year stint with the Gingerbread Players and Jack, a highly acclaimed musical children’s theatre repertory company. During that time, she filled in the gaps in her employment with computer work (desktop publishing, graphic design) and event photography.
Sharon also began dabbling in writing and had a couple of children’s stories published in magazines when she and a friend decided to pool their resources and founded Excalibur Publishing. During the 16-year run of the company, they published 14 books, launching several writing careers, including their own. Sharon’s book, Managing With A Heart, was picked up by Sourcebooks, an up-and-coming publishing company, and has been translated into several languages. Sharon has gone on to write and publish several more books and audios through her new company, Good Life Press.
Sharon was drawn to life coaching in 1997. She began training with Custom Start Coaching, and later went on to be certified by the Life Purpose Institute and attain a certificate in Adult Career Planning and Development from New York University. She continues to expand her coaching skills, and also trains coaches at the Life Purpose Institute and NYU.
Sharon has spoken and conducted workshops and teleclasses at numerous venues, including the 92nd Street Y/Makor, the Learning Annex, the International Coach Federation/NYC chapter, the Career Change Workshop, WorkTalk, the Virtual Reality Self-Help Center, and Axxess Business Centers, among others.

Favorite Saying:
“Life to you is a dashing and bold adventure.”
Most Unique Opportunity:
Playing a gingerbread cookie in children’s theatre! The show was “The Gingerbread Boy,” and I played the boy’s mother. I also got to play Mopsy in “Peter Rabbit,” a dwarf in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and one of the mean sisters in “Beauty and the Beast.”
Most Unique Adventure:
Driving on the left-side of the road in England! I wanted to spend some time around Bath and Glastonbury, and the only way to get around was to drive. It was nerve-wracking, but it got me where I wanted to go, and I was so proud of myself for doing it!
